Want to love your skin again? Like you did before acne and wrinkles were your norm?
Dr. Collini now offers the newest technology with Infini! It is a new dimension in radiofrequency (RF) technology used to address some of the most common of skin problems many people face.
Infini Microneedling is a breakthrough treatment that delivers radiofrequency energy through a microneedling process. By stimulating an increase in collagen production, this non-invasive treatment effectively tightens the skin and provides overall skin rejuvenation. Infini Microneedling can also be used as a spot treatment for a variety of skin concerns including acne scars, stretch marks, fine lines, and wrinkles. It uses a 3-dimensional approach of delivering RF energy to create tissue volumization.
Infini Microneedling can be used to treat a wide variety of skin problems and age-related complaints. We most commonly use it to:
- Minimize acne scars
- Improves skin elasticity
- Correct uneven skin texture and tone
- Soften fine lines and wrinkles
- Tighten loose skin
What is micro needling?
Micro needling is the process of using very small sterilized needles on the skin for collagen induction. Traditional micro needling utilizes a stamp or roller and is not associated with a light or energy device. The hand piece contains 49 microscopic needles that are deployed through the skin’s surface. Once deployed, the micro needle tips conduct radiofrequency energy into predetermined depths of the dermis, a huge advantage over traditional micro needling devices.
How does the treatment feel?
You will feel heat and some pressure. The treatment is tolerable but your physician will work with you to maximize your comfort level. Compared with CO2 lasers, many find the Infini more comfortable.
How long is the downtime?
There is an initial redness and swelling which substantially subsides after 24-36 hours. It can take up to a week for this to completely resolve. Most people resume normal activities within 48 hours.
How long will my results last?
Unlike many other procedures, this has long lasting results since it is your own body that is at work. The effects could last for years.
How long before I see results?
You can expect to see some changes as soon as a day or two after the procedure. However, your body will continue to rebuild the collagen for several weeks after that, so you will see improvement over the next six months.
How long does the treatment take and how many treatments will I need?
A treatment can take as little as 15 minutes and up to an hour. Your physician will discuss your goals which will determine the length and number of treatments you will need. Many see results after just one treatment but typically it takes 3 treatments to get optimal results as opposed to 6 treatments as with many other treatments.
